Using Peer Review to Generate Corroborating Evidence
August 30 - 31, 2012/ Bentonville, AR
This training is for Multidisciplinary team members and forensic interviewers/any professional who is practicing forensic interviews.
Applications may be completed individually or as an MDT team: Each application must contain a professional who practices forensic interviewing- a member of a multidisciplinary team. You may apply in a MDT group (up to 4 people), but one member must be someone who conducts forensic interviews. Please note that if you apply as a group, the cost is $150 per person. Or you may apply as an individual professional who conducts forensic interviews (for a multidisciplinary team). In this course, peer review practices will be used to improve the ability of forensic interviewers and multidisciplinary teams to generate corroborating evidence. MDT members will watch several child interviews and discuss what, if anything, the interviewer could have done to collect additional information from the child that could have translated into corroborating evidence. The attendees will also share their own forensic interviews and participate in a peer review of their own work. Several years of experience from registrants is not required.
